Sydney Posliff is a filmmaker based in Toronto and Kitchener Ontario, Canada. With a focus towards writing and directing, she has been creating films for over seven years with technical training at Ryerson University for four.

With her writing and directing work on short films, such as: 'Queen of Spades' (2019), 'Endurance' (2018), 'Michael' (2018) and recently 'Swing in Time' (2022) and 'Entropic' (2022). Sydneys work has been screened and recognized in film festivals both locally and internationally.

Sydney is a film fan first and filmmaker second. The filmmakers she grew up watching changed the way she viewed stories and drove her to become the filmmaker she is today. Her work is inspired by true stories and magical elements that are often found in our lives.
